About this role
Successful individual will be responsible for operating the "Follow-me" vehicle to ensure the safe movement of aircraft at the airside. The role is accountable for assisting the Safety Supervisors, implement and ensure to monitor compliance to safety procedures at the airside. Direct traffic at intersections of service roads and taxiways and respond promptly to airside accidents involving aircrafts, vehicles, people, properties and emergency alerts. The role requires a proactive individual to expand the levels of responsibility and take ownership of successful delivery of key tasks. To be successful in this role you will have: *College Diploma or Bachelor Degree in any related field <p> *2 years experience in a capacity of ramp vehicle / equipment operator within the aviation industry.</p> <p>*Hold a Radio Operator's Certificate and has attended formal training on the use of radio telephony.</p> <p>*Must have thorough knowledge of apron operating restrictions and safety procedures.</p> <p>*Must have attended Airline / Airport ramp safety training courses.</p> <p>*Must have attended formal training on airside driving.</p> <p>*Must be mature in outlook, organized, able to co-ordinate emergency situations and to respond appropriately.</p> <p>*Equipment / Vehicle driving skills.</p> * Perform escort assignments and co-ordinate Traffic control <p>*Excellent English skills and high level professional manner for interaction with internal / external high level position is necessary.</p> <p>*Qatar Driving License is a must.</p> <p></p>
