About this role
<p>JOB DESCRIPTION: <br /> Provide oversight of the continuing airworthiness of individual aircraft and the issue of airworthiness review certificates. Provide oversight of internal or contracted Part 145 maintenance organisations, as specified in M.A. Subpart B 201. To endorse the recommendations put forward by the organisation ensuring the continuing airworthiness tasks detailed in M.A. Subpart C meet the standards required by M.A. Subpart G.</p> <p>Provide M.A. Subpart G function for contracted 3rd Party Operators</p> <p>Contribute towards & promote our client as an innovative and World Class Airline</p> <p>Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>To produce and maintain the continuing airworthiness management exposition, detailing the procedures, means and methods of the M.A. Subpart G organisation, ensuring compliance with its contents, assuring compliance with Part M requirements</li> <li>To actively control and endorse the standards of the continuing airworthiness management tasks, consistent with Appendix II to M.A.201 (h) assuring;</li> </ul> <p>o The aircraft is maintained in an airworthy condition, and;<br /> o Any operational and emergency equipment fitted is correctly installed & serviceable or clearly labelled as unserviceable, and;<br /> o The airworthiness certificate remains valid, and forecasting for subsequent reviews<br /> o The maintenance of the aircraft is performed in accordance with the approved maintenance programme as specified in M.A.302</p> <ul> <li>Will be required for stand by duty on a weekly basis covering out of hours' contact on a rota basis to support the business needs."</li> <li>To develop processes, procedures, compliance reports and carry out the Airworthiness Reviews in accordance with M.A.710 (a) and Subpart I including;</li> </ul> <p>o Full documented review<br /> o Aircraft physical surveys<br /> o Transfer of aircraft registration within the EU; new and used.<br /> o Aircraft imported into the EU; new and used.<br /> o Managing allocated aircraft to ensure ARC's are issued in a timely manor<br /> </p> <ul> <li>To review all legislation pertaining to continuing airworthiness management, promulgating and advising the organisation as necessary, including but not limited to;</li> </ul> <p>o Training School<br /> o Flight Operations<br /> </p> <ul> <li>Assist & provide guidance on NCR root cause analysis</li> </ul> <p>Behaviours<br /> </p> <ul> <li>Promote health & safety as primary objective</li> <li>Open & consistent approach when communicating with others</li> <li>Demonstrate a proactive and flexible approach to achieve the business objectives</li> </ul> <p>Behave in a manner that reflects the professional integrity of our client when dealing with external parties.</p> <p>Key Relationships (Internal & External contacts):<br /> NAA (CAA, EASA & FAA)</p> <p><br /> o Liaison & Interface on airworthiness matters</p> <p>o Part M Subpart G & I</p> <p>o On-board certificates</p> <p>o Aircraft (wet/damp/dry) lease & import/export programmes</p> <p>o Promulgation & advice on legislation</p> <p>o Pilot training</p> <p>o Part M Subpart G</p> <p>o Promulgation & advice on legislation</p> <p>o CATP's, & Forms</p> <p>o Continuous improvement</p> <p>o Continuation training</p> <p>o Promulgation & advice on legislation</p> <p>o Preparation & management of budgets</p> <p><br /> Key Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Competencies: (i.e. those (including qualifications) required to fulfil role:</p> <ul> <li>Must fulfil the requirements of AMC M.A.706 Personnel requirements</li> <li>Must fulfil the requirements of AMC M.A.707 (a) Airworthiness Review Staff</li> <li>A good knowledge of Part M, Part 145, Part 147 & Part 21, maintaining currency in the industry through journals, publications etc.</li> <li>Good IT skills & good working knowledge of our clients operating system (AMOS)</li> <li>Ability to plan and organise in a methodical and analytical manner</li> <li>Excellent problem solving and analytical skills</li> <li>Ability to facilitate meetings and achieve results</li> <li>Broad knowledge and understanding of a range of techniques to manage process change & quality improvement</li> <li>Excellent oral, written & presentation skills</li> </ul> <p>Financial awareness</p> <p>Specific Training Requirements for this role:</p> <ul> <li>EASA Part 66 B1/B2 Aircraft Licence, Or Aeronautical Degree, (Or 10 Years Continuing Airworthiness experience)</li> <li>Human Factors Training (Initial & Re-current, every 2 years)</li> <li>EASA Part M & EASA Part 145 Awareness training</li> <li>General Familiarisation training per relevant sample of aircraft type managed</li> <li>Clients Safety Management System Training (When available)</li> <li>Clients Departmental Quality System</li> </ul> <p>Clients Fuel Tank Safety Training (Level 1 & 2)</p> <p>Any additional relevant information:</p> <p>Must hold (or be able to hold) a valid DoT security pass (airport security)<br /> Must hold a valid driving license<br /> Must hold a valid Passport<br /> Must be Capable of holding an EASA Form 4 for ARC renewal/extension</p> <p>4 KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS (ASSESSMENT CRITERIA):</p> <p>TECHNICAL SKILL 1: Team Player<br /> TECHNICAL SKILL 2: Working knowledge of the regulatory requirements<br /> TECHNICAL SKILL 3: Communication skills<br /> TECHNICAL SKILL 4: Organisational skills</p> <p>This is a 3 to 6 month contract so for more infomation please send your CV to (email address removed) or call (phone number removed) .</p> <p><br /> </p>
