Maintenance Programmes Engineer

<p>Job Purpose</p> <p>Initial production, continuous monitoring and development of the Aircraft Maintenance Programme to ensure standards are maintained with the requirements of the appropriate regulatory authority.<br /> Review manufacturers recommendations and operator experience to ensure optimum programmes are developed to meet company and customer requirements. Contribute towards, and promote our client as an innovative and world class airline</p> <p>Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities</p> <p>• Reviewing changes to the manufacturers’ recommendations, including Maintenance Planning data Documents (MPD) and their effect on our client customised Maintenance Programme.</p> <p>• Liaising with manufacturers in respect of MPD task anomalies.</p> <p>• Researching and reviewing recommendations generated from within our client for changes to our clients Maintenance Programme.</p> <p>• Preparation of submissions to our clients review committee meeting for changes to the Maintenance Programmes.</p> <p>• Attending the clients Technical Review Committee Meeting.</p> <p>• Undertaking projects and preparing reports as may be directed by the Dept Manager in the preparation of, or the development of, Maintenance Programmes.</p> <p>• Producing, amending or enhancing departmental, inter-departmental and company procedures.</p> <p>• Monitor the effectiveness of the Reliability Programme corrective actions.</p> <p>• Co-ordinating Reliability and Technical Support recommendations for review by the Maintenance Programme Committee.</p> <p>• Participation in manufacture - co-ordinated Industry Steering Committee activities for Maintenance Review Board Report (MRBR) development.</p> <p>• Knowledge of ATA Maintenance Programme Development philosophy and evolution including MSG-2 & MSG-3.</p> <p>• Involvement in aircraft fleet change projects, where acquisitions and disposals require record reviews to define integration check requirements</p> <p>• Organise monthly aircraft Maintenance Programme meeting to present significant aircraft maintenance programme amendments</p> <p><br /> Qualifications and Experience</p> <p>• Minimum 5 years in the aircraft maintenance environment and proven knowledge and experience developing an aircraft Maintenance programme;<br /> • Minimum Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Licence or Degree / HND in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent related experience;<br /> • Proven record and knowledge of avionic/mechanical aircraft systems relevant to the aircraft types operated by our client<br /> • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements.</p> <p>Key Competencies</p> <p>• Able to manage priorities and work to demanding timescales;<br /> • Able to manage working hours to ensure the needs and demands of the role are fulfilled;<br /> • Excellent interpersonal skills;<br /> • Good facilitator;<br /> • Excellent written and verbal communicator;<br /> • Understanding of human factors;<br /> • Knowledge of IOSH.<br /> • Understanding of business risks (business and financial);<br /> • A good knowledge of health and safety requirements within an engineering environment;<br /> • Proficient in Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook and an understanding of the companies computer system AMOS.</p> <p>If you are interested in this role then please send your CV to <a href="mailto:ben@luap.com">ben@luap.com</a> or call 01403 217688</p>
