About this role
Description: The Company Psychologist is responsible for providing psychological support and counselling to all QR staff, assessing and evaluating individuals' problems through the use of case history, interview, and observation and provide individual counselling to enable the employees to overcome difficulties, making decisions and promoting development. Key Accountabilities: Provide counselling to all QRMC entitled QR staff. Collect information about individuals or clients, using psychometric analysis, interviews, case histories, observational techniques, and other assessment methods. Refer staff, on need to be bases, for Psychiatric consultation or admissions if necessary. Refer to QRMC doctors if patient requires any medications or further investigations. Liaise with QRMC doctors if staffs' psychological status or treatment is considered a hazard with flying/work. Provide psychological health awareness to staff. Develop therapeutic and treatment plans based on patients' interests, abilities, and needs. Evaluate the results of counselling methods to determine the reliability and validity of treatments. Maintain accurate records and documentation and providing regular reports to Head of Medical Services. Be on call for any emergency situations To be a successful in this role you will hold University degree in psychology. Certified as a counsellor. State of Qatar NHA license to practice. Fluent in English. Min 5 years similar experience in a large organisation/hospital preferably in a multicultural environment. Ability to work under pressure in emergencies as part of a team and unsupervised. Pleasant and presentable. Capable of establishing good rapport with QRMC staff and other departments. Ability to perform different basic psychological testing is a plus.
