The airline is an employee-focused company with a commitment to providing staff with excellent working conditions and competitive salaries. </p><p><b> The Postion: </b> </p><p>Working under the direction of the Supervisor Airport Services or Airport Services Officer on duty at Washington Dulles International Airport, you will represent Emirates and enhance passenger service to both arriving and departing passengers. You will ensure all operational criteria are completed within specified time frames and be effective in co-ordination with all internal and external departments such as GHA, other airlines and various authorities at the airport as directed by the Airport Services Manager. You will be responsible for screening incoming calls and dealing with queries and for referring caller to appropriate personnel or section where appropriate, in order to provide effective customer service. <br />You will undertake duties at the Emirates Ticket Desk, including issuing tickets, MCOs, excess baggage tickets, PTAs to passengers on departure and amending reservations, re-issue/recalculate tickets and fares for passengers changing itineraries and make additional collections as required. You will also undertake various other administrative, pre-flight and post-flight duties as directed by the Airport Services Manager/Officer or Supervisor. </p><p><b> Qualifications/Experience: </b> </p><p>Educated to at least a High School level or equivalent. <br />Proven experience in Airport Passenger, Ground Operations and Baggage Services. <br />Must have completed relevant and recognised professional training courses in Passenger Services and Ground Operations, with a working knowledge of Departure Control System (DCS), Computerized Reservation System (MACS) and knowledge of check-in procedures essential. <br />Knowledge of Reservations, Fares & Ticketing using the MARS system and Load Control preferred. <br />Excellent Customer service, proactive, initiative and the ability to work under pressure. <br />Proficiency in Microsoft Office </p><p><b> APPLICANTS MUST HAVE THE LEGAL RIGHT TO LIVE AND WORK IN THE USA.
