<br /> <p>Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC) part of the Emirates Groupis the world's largest in-flight catering operation providing in-flight catering and support services for airlines from Dubai International Airport. With a workforce of over 6500 multinational employees and four work sites, EKFC has a clientele of 120 airlines and airline hospitality lounges in Dubai International Airport as well as running a large off airport Food and Beverage business. </p><p> </p><p>This position is within the Food and Beverage Airport Department. </p><p> </p><p><b>Your responsibilities will include: </b> </p><p><b></b> </p><ul> <li>Responsible for ensuring full compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety system.</li> <li>Ensure that the airport lounge customers are provided with excellent level of service at all times.</li> <li>Responsible for the supervision of staff within the area of responsibility to ensure that all employee comply with menu specifications, food safety standards and that staff are productive and behave in accordance with company requirements.</li> <li>Address matters of poor performance and misconduct in the first instance and report serious violations to the Food and Beverage Manager.</li> <li>Assist with leading and developing staff recruitment, on job orientation, probation management, performance review and training.</li> <li>Ensure full compliance to the company's food safety and quality management system requirements and assist with the close out any non-conformances with the required timeframe.</li> </ul> <p> </p><p><b>Experience & Qualifications:</b> </p><p><b></b> </p><ul> <li>Diploma in Hotel / Catering Management or equivalent qualification. </li> <li>Food and Beverage Service Experience in a premium standard hotel or service environment. </li> <li>High standard of verbal and written communication in English.</li> <li>Results orientation.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to supervise a multinational workforce of junior culinary staff.</li> <li>Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to maintain constructive relationships with others.</li> <li>Anticipates customer needs and keeps customers informed.</li> <li>Ability to resolve customer complaints and anticipate emerging customer needs to continually improve service standards.</li> <li>Acts as a role model and provides effective behavioural examples in order to motivate team members to achieve high levels of performance.</li> <li>High level of commitment to continuous improvement and adaptability to change.</li> <li>Strong practical knowledge and experience in food safety and occupational health and safety.</li> <li>Ability to collaborate cross functionally and at all levels and team based approach including ability to positively manage conflict.</li> </ul> <p> </p><p> </p><p><b>Salary & Benefits</b>: Salary package will be discussed during the interview to successful candidates. </p><p> </p><p><b>To Apply:</b>To express your interest in the above vacancy please apply on line. </p> Please click the Apply now button and search for reference:FSS/AM/21228
