Discover your future!<b> <br /> <br /></b>The Position: <br /> <p> As part of a team of technicians as directed by the (Senior) Maintenance Technician/Maintenance Supervisor, assist in carrying out all scheduled and non scheduled maintenance, servicing, fault finding and repair on all equipment /vehicles and plant maintained by various Technical Services Workshops to ensure functional reliability to meet the 24 hour requirements of the operations. Equipment maintained include: </p><p>All Ground Support Equipment used by DN Airport Operation departments for providing service to all aircraft (airlines) using Dubai International Airport & EK Engineering. <br />All EK ULDs. <br />All vehicles & automobiles used by various EK departments & other organizations within Dubai International Airport. <br />All cargo handling equipment at the DN Cargo & EK Sky Cargo warehouses. <br />Equipment used by EK Flight Catering. <br /> </p><p> <b>Salary & Benefits: </b>We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE. The Dirham is linked to the Special Drawing Right of the International Monetary Fund. It has been held constant against the US dollar since the end of 1980 at a mid-rate of approximately US$1= Dh3.66. By viewing the 'Dubai Lifestyle' section in the site you can also consider the benefits of Dubai as a location to live and work in. <br /> <br /> <b>Qualifications</b> </p><ul> <li>10 Years schooling or equivalent </li><li>Certificate in Mechanical or Automobile or Electrical or Electronics or Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineering from reputed Industrial Training Institution. </li><li>Exprience in similar engineering workshop/organization in the field of maintenance </li><li>Knowledge of Mechanical and/or Electrical and/or Electronics and/or Automobile and/or Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration systems. </li><li>Knowledge of welding and fabrication. </li><li>Any specialised training on hydraulics/lifting equipment/conveyor systems/material handling equipment would be an advantage. </li><li>Any specialised training on PLCs/AC-DC Motor Control Systems/AC-DC generators/Traction Batteries & Chargers and Material handling equipment would be an advantage. </li><li>Proven ability to communicate in English (Verbal & written) </li><li>A valid UAE driving licence is preferred. </li><li>Training on First Aid at workplace and Safety/fire fighting at workplace would be an advantage. <br /> <br /></li> </ul> <p><b>Experience</b> </p><ul> <li>Facilities/Maintenance.Auto/Electric Mechanic 3 Years </li> </ul> <p> <br /><b>To Apply:</b>To express your interest in the above vacancy please apply on-line by clicking below, and complete our application form.
