Discover your future!<b> <br /> <br />The Position:</b> <b>Interviews for this position will take place in Dubai, hence applications will only be considered for those candidates that are resident or available in the UAE. </b> </p><p>Perform the build up and breakdown of Cargo/ courier/mail and ensure swift and safe movement of cargo, courier and mail loads. <br /> <br /> </p><p>Inspect, count and validate the goods/parcels at every point of breakdown/build-up and delivery/acceptance, ensuring that goods are correctly received or dispatched in accordance within established service standards. </p><p>Process all associated documentation (manually/through automated systems) relating to the shipments of courier/mail. </p><p>Ensure that all shipments of restricted articles are properly handled and processed in full compliance with the current edition of the IATA DGR and are loaded accordingly. </p><p>Accept and deliver Cargo, courier and mail from / to the customers, which requires a high degree of attentiveness, speed and with a very high degree of accuracy. </p><p>Monitor and ensure joining loads and arriving loads of Cargo, Courier and Mail are properly handled by the GHAs at various processing stages at the Ramp through co-ordination. </p><p><b>Salary & Benefits: </b>We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE. The Dirham is linked to the Special Drawing Right of the International Monetary Fund. It has been held constant against the US dollar since the end of 1980 at a mid-rate of approximately US$1= Dh3.66. By viewing the 'Dubai Lifestyle' section in the site you can also consider the benefits of Dubai as a location to live and work in. <br /> <br /> <br /><b>Experience and Qualifications:</b> </p><ul> <li>Successfully completed secondary education. </li><li>A minimum of 2 years experience in the air Cargo Handling/ Operations Industry, with working knowledge of cargo build up, break down, acceptance, delivery and documentation procedures. </li><li>Certification in basic Cargo and Dangerous Goods Handling courses. </li><li>Good knowledge of Personal Computers and Cargo Handling systems. </li><li>Good communication skills in both spoken and written English. </li> </ul> <p> <br /><b>To Apply: </b>To express your interest in the above vacancy please apply on-line by clicking below, and complete our application form.
