Discover your future! <br /><b> <br />The Position: </b>We are inviting applications for consideration as Technical Services/Development Engineers within Emirates Engineering department. We are currently looking for engineers in the following disciplines; </p><ul> <li>Airframe Mechanical Systems </li><li>Structures </li><li>Avionics </li><li>Cabin </li><li>IFE </li><li>Powerplant </li> </ul> <p>The incumbent's primary objective will be to provide technical services as a member of the technical services team working on Emirates fleet to ensure a high standard of service and technical dispatch reliability. <br /> <br />Specifically, the Technical Services Engineer will; </p><ul> <li>Provide technical support of activities prior to aircraft delivery. </li><li>Supply technical services for upgrade and modification of aircraft in revenue service. </li><li>Provide technical services to help reduce repair and maintenance costs. </li><li>Offer specialist technical advice for resolution of complex and/or unusual aircraft technical problems. </li> </ul> <p> <br /><b>Salary & Benefits: </b>We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE. The Dirham is linked to the Special Drawing Right of the International Monetary Fund and it has been held constant against the US dollar since the end of 1980 at a mid-rate of approximately US$1="Dh3.66." By viewing the 'Dubai Lifestyle' section in the careers website you can also consider the many benefits of Dubai as a location to live and work in <br /> <br /><b>Experience and Qualifications:</b> </p><ul> <li>Degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and/or holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License for 5 years. </li><li>A total of 8 years experience of which 5 years in a Technical Services function and at least 3 years on Emirates type fleet. </li><li>Thorough knowledge of latest technical developments and industry trends on respective Systems. </li><li>Ability to assess the business and safety implications of making technical changes to aircraft. </li> </ul> <p><b>To Apply: </b>To express your interest in the above vacancy please apply on-line by clicking below, and complete our application form.
