<p> The Duty Manager AOCC is responsible for the accurate and updated delivery of actual flight data and resource allocation. The team receives the flight and allocation data from the planning team for the operational day and ensures the effective utilization of the airport's resources. Responsible for operational planning of stands and operational allocation of gates, check-in counters and baggage reclaim belts (currently in 12h timeframes from 5am to 5pm and 5pm to 5am), ensuring accuracy, consistency and timely availability of actual flight data and dissemination to service providers, airport users and travelling public </p> <p> The Duty Manager AOCC is responsible for the accurate and efficient handling of daily operations in regards to Flight Data Management & Resource Allocation. </p> <p> §  Overseeing the allocation of the airport hard resources as aircraft parking stands, gates, check-in counters and baggage reclaim belts on a day to day basis. </p> <p> §  Develop inspection checklists, define criteria for safety inspections, investigations and risk assessments. </p> <p> §  Handling issues of airport capacity shortage. </p> <p> §  Overseeing the consistent and accurate processing of vital flight data in the Airport operational database and the interface system applications and FIDS displays. </p> <p> §  Overseeing the provision of Follow-Me and Marshallers and the operation of the Visual Docking Guidance System. </p> <p> §  Coordination with Qatar Airways OCC on optimized hub operation and connectivity. </p> <p> §  Close coordination with air traffic control on issues as stand allocation and handling of operational irregularities. </p> <p> §  Coordination of any irregularity and resolving controversial issues in day-to-day operation with ATC, Ground Handler airlines, state authorities and other airport stakeholders. </p> <p> §  Overseeing the performance of staff, developing and delivering training. </p> <p> §  Oversee coordination and notification tasks of the AOCC in case of emergency as set out in the Airport Emergency Plan and as instructed by the Site Commander. </p> <p> §  Prepare comprehensive statistical traffic reports and assist in the preparation of periodic and annual statistical and performance reports.         </p> <p> §  Collate, review, and safe keep daily activity reports and statistics. </p> <p> §  Efficiency of airside safety procedures. </p> <p> §  Support the department as the administrator, responsible for controlling team activities such as screening of vacation leave requests, preparation of monthly work schedules, facilitating requests for payment of authorized overtime work, provisioning of uniforms, coordinating internal training requirements, and other related activities in close coordination with HR. </p> <p> §  Management of department manpower and staff development plan for DIA AOCC positions.  Assist evaluate employee performance and oversee behaviors on airside employees for compliance with SOPs.</p> <p> §  Perform other functions and projects that the Head of Department may assign from time to time. </p> <p> §  Maintain regular communication with other DIA departments and stakeholders to resolve facilitation issues and problems. </p> <p> §  Responsible for daily interactions with airside service providers; monitor performance against agreed targets and compliance with SOPs. </p> <p> §  Track trends and best practices in global airport duty management and compile, report/escalate risk to the management. </p> <p> §  Train Qatari employees in the duties. </p> <p> §  Perform other department duties related to the position as directed by the HOD. </p> <p> </p> <p></p>
