About this role
JOB PURPOSE: The Procedure Development Analyst works within Ground Services - Hub and reviews existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and develops new procedures and standards for Qatar Airways Ground Services at New Doha International Airport. This role is instrumental in fulfilling the implementation and development of new procedures and will assist in achieving continuous qualitative improvement in the service delivery at New Doha International Airport in the most cost effective manner. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Operational . Review of existing procedures and performing of gap analysis . Writing of procedures for Ground Services . Alignment of Ground Services procedures with other SOPs of stakeholders at NDIA . Organizing and leading the Ground Services Focus Group in order to develop new set of procedures, quality/safety standards . Review established procedures, quality/safety standards vis-à-vis actual work methods at implementation stage. . Identifies local SOPs together DIA and ensure to align Ground Services SOPs . Supports that all procedures are in compliance with regulatory requirements (QCAA, ICAO, IATA etc.). Leadership . Drives the change process within the Ground Services team to develop new procedures for NDIA. Management . Oversees the alignment of NDIA wide Ground Services related procedures Strategy . Improve the efficiency of Ground Services operations with the move to NDIA by developing operationally efficient SOPs. Qualifications: Essential . Bachelor's degree Preferred . Preferably Post Graduate in Airline/Airport Management or related field will be an advantage. . Comprehensive understanding of the regulations and standards required by IOSA, ISAGO. Previous Experience: Essential . Experienced - minimum 2 years of job-related experience required . At least two years work experience in an airline, airport, ground handling agent or hospitality environment.. Preferred . Experience in similar a role in an international setting. . Work experience in process/procedure development is an advantage . Procedure/Document Management/Publishing work with major organisation Job Specific Skills: Essential . Must have advanced skills in MS Project, Word, Visio and PowerPoint. . Must have excellent communication skills in spoken and written English. . Must have experience in designing process flow charts with MS Visio Preferred . Project Management or Project Administration experience . Proven problem-solving skills .
