The Analyst Network Strategy works within the Corporate Planning department contributing to the development of Qatar Airways strategies based on sound competitive intelligence, data collection, scanning and analyzing regional and global competition and benchmarking Qatar Airways' products and services. The role will be under Network Strategy which is a key element of the department. It will cover studying best practices and exploring ways to replicate relevant ones, as well as recommending original initiatives to gain competitive advantage. In addition, the successful candidate will continuously monitor O&D traffic flows and developments, demographic changes on QR's natural traffic flow-streams and assess changes in the competitive landscape. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: - Education up to degree level preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science - 3 or more years experience in an airline ideally in a planning/strategy/partnership capacity - Good experience in main analysis tools and data modeling - Strong analytical skills and good economic understanding at macro and micro level - Experience with Pax-IS/MIDT is essential - Good interpersonal skills and team-player <p></p>
