Discover your future! <br /><b> <br /> <br />The Position : </b>Accurately process all requests received from Tour Operators and EK Network for the destination through the Computerized Reservation System for final service delivery by the Operations Department. <br /> </p><ul> <li> To arrange for visas and other ground services requested by the Tour Operators and EK Network / passengers. </li><li> To liaise with the Airport / Hotel Representatives and assist passengers / in-resort clients to the best of their ability and hence ensure that they have a satisfactory experience, including at the airport and with the hotel / Arabian Adventures services. </li><li> To attend telephone inquiries and provide assistance and information to Tour Operators and EK Outstations as well as passengers and in-resort clients in a courteous and professional manner such that it creates a positive impact for EK, Arabian Adventures and the destination. </li><li> To offer alternatives when requested services cannot be confirmed and hence ensure materialization of each and every request. </li><li> To ensure that liability for services provided by contracted suppliers exists to enable their invoices to be processed accurately for payment. </li><li> To provide market and competitor information as well as client / passenger feedback on products / services to the Tours Officer along with suggestions for improving the same. </li><li> To process all Reservation Requests from Tour Operators and EK Network within the stipulated time-frame. </li><li> To ensure all services booked by Tour Operators and EK Network are charged for as per the negotiated contracts/tariffs and invoiced / payment marked accurately. <br /> <br /><b>Salary & Benefits: </b>We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE. The Dirham is linked to the Special Drawing Right of the International Monetary Fund. It has been held constant against the US dollar since the end of 1980 at a mid-rate of approximately US$1= Dh3.66. By viewing the 'Dubai Lifestyle' section in the site you can also consider the benefits of Dubai as a location to live and work in. <br /> <br /> <br /><b>Minimum Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Knowledge </b> </li><li> Minimum 'A' level </li><li> Minimum of 3 years work experience in one of the following: reservations in Tour Companies, Hotels Reservations or Airline or Travel Agency Call Centre. </li><li> Should have achieved a high proficiency in a word processing package like MS word and a spreadsheet package like MS EXCEL. </li><li> Basic knowledge into the working of Tour Operators and airline products and their special requirements. </li><li> Knowledge of the destination/s. </li><li> A proven ability to work independently, managing and organising your workload with minimum amount of supervision. </li><li> Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. </li><li> Ability to read, write and speak in Portugese is essential. </li> </ul> <p><b>Other Information Working Hours <br />09:00-18:30 Friday - Wednesday & 09:00-18:00 Thursday, with days off based on roster. <br /> <br /> <br />To Apply: </b>To express your interest in the above vacancy please apply on-line by clicking below, and complete our application form.
