Deputy Maintenance Manager - Germany

<p><strong>Jet Professionals are sourcing for&nbsp;a Deputy Maintenance Manager for our corporate client based in Germany.</strong></p> <p>All candidates must have extensive knowledge of Learjet aircraft and preferably hold a B1 license.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Ensure that all maintenance is carried out in compliance with the applicable procedures, processes, technical instruction and data in general approved by the competent authorities</li> <li>Ensure that all maintenance work is done in the frame of approvals and in accordance with the customer&rsquo;s requirements within the agreed timeframe</li> <li>Apply a Quality and Safety Policy, to promote its application to all personnel under his authority and to establish a system to follow the human factor principles</li> <li>Establish and maintain systems for measuring necessary aspects of operation and development</li> <li>Ensure that all applicable maintenance data is available for use when required</li> <li>Initiates actions to keep up performance to meet targets</li> <li>Ensure timely corrective actions&nbsp; on non-conformity findings resulting from audits within his area of responsibility</li> <li>Establishing and controlling of general budget and in particular of personnel and assets for all relevant cost centres</li> <li>Liaise with others managers so as to understand all necessary aspects and needs in order to optimize efficiency in hangars and workshops</li> <li>Develop , implement and monitor enhancement to production processes</li> <li>Monitor day to day work and manage situation by taking decisions and setting priorities</li> <li>Monitor the required manpower in advance and ensure that there is sufficient qualified personnel available for the planned work</li> <li>Investigation of incidents on aircraft, components and test equipment to ensure prompt rectification and introduction of precautions as to such incidents</li> <li>Ensure that all certifying staff receive the appropriate continuation training and have the up to date knowledge of the relevant technology</li> <li>Business oriented, development of organisation and managers/key people</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><b><u>Education / Experience:</u></b></p> <ul> <li>Strong technical knowledge in aviation (knowledge of Learjet aircraft is a necessity)</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skill</li> <li>Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and to set priorities / taking initiatives when needed</li> <li>Capacity to adapt to a fast-moving environment, with changing priorities and a heavy workload</li> <li>Excellent team spirit with ability to work independently</li> <li>Fluent in English, German a distinct advantage</li> </ul>
