Deputy Director Flight Operations - Europe

<p>Jet Professionals, on behalf of our corporate client based in Germany, are sourcing for a Deputy Director Flight Operations. This is a fabulous opportunity for candidates with extensive Learjet flying and technical experience to join a rapidly expanding company in the heart of Europe.</p> <p><br /> Responsibilites include:</p> <p>Supervise all company pilots in the conduct of providing executives on-demand air transportation that is safe, dependable and efficient.</p> <p>Assist in overseeing the department flight schedule to ensure that crews maintain currency and proficiency in all aircraft assigned.</p> <p>Ensure that flight schedules are properly crewed and that aircraft and flight crews are being utilized to optimum efficiency.</p> <p>Ensure that all aircraft are supplied with appropriate and current company and documentation.</p> <p>Insure flight crew compliance with department Safety and Security programs and training requirements.</p> <p>Review, with the relevant supervisor, any additional pilot/maintenance training to be scheduled.&nbsp;</p> <p>Conduct staff meetings to disseminate information to keep employees informed of company and departmental activity.</p> <p>Establish annual goals and objectives that support overall department objectives.</p> <p>Develop Original Budget and Revised flight operations and capital budget for department.</p> <p>Approve all company flight operations expenditures.</p> <p>Provide development opportunities and guidance for employees in conjunction with employee aspirations and company needs.</p> <p>Supervise all flight crew and aircraft scheduling.</p> <p><strong>Additional Functions:</strong></p> <p>Keep supervisor informed of all activities, especially any customer-related issues, delays or flight cancellation.</p> <p>Perform special projects, as required, such as assisting in preparation of department strategic plan, fleet replacement proposal and new equipment analysis.&nbsp; Oversee fuel discount program to obtain maximum advantages at minimum cost.<br /> <br /> Team player with proven ability to manage, mentor, and motivate staff</p>
