<p><strong>Position </strong> ENGINEERING OFFICER<br /> <strong>Location </strong> Basel<br /> <br /> <strong>Experience / Qualifications / Know-How </strong><br /> •3-5 years experience in an Engineering role within airline environment. Preferable relevant experience on ATR, B1900 and/or equivalent regional aircraft.<br /> • English, German and/or French are an advantage, knowledge of EASA requirements, AMOS system.<br /> <br /> <strong>Key Accountabilities / Duties / Responsibilities</strong><br /> • The holder of this position is responsible for the engineering of our clients aircraft fleet:<br /> • Assessing of service bulletins, airworthiness directives and other instructions from the manufacturer and relevant regulatory authorities for their application on FARNAIR's fleet.<br /> • Assessing FARNAIR's aircraft fleet reliability, repetitive defects and initiate improvements.<br /> • Amending the approved maintenance program based on MRB/MPD updates, and FARNAIR's operational experience.<br /> • Perform engine trend monitoring and initiate corrective actions in liaison with engine overhaul facility.<br /> • Review of engine and component shop reports, perform root cause analysis of failures, and determine corrective/preventive actions.<br /> • Liaise with the manufacturer concerning structural repairs outside SRM.<br /> • Perform duties in safe and professional manner in accordance with organizations SQMS.<br /> <br /> <strong>License Aeronautical degree and/or equivalent experience as Aircraft Mechanic/ Electrician.</strong><br /> <br /> <strong>Requirements / Special Features</strong><br /> • Full time employment.<br /> • Requires sustained periods of concentration.<br /> • Driving license<br /> • Some limited travel required</p>
