Discover your future! <br /><b> <br /> <br />The Position:</b> </p><p><b>Job Purpose</b> </p><ul> <li>Lead, plan, monitor and co-ordinate all field activities of Arabian Adventures Safari Guides in co-ordination with the Safari Officers in order to deliver a total quality service which meets the set service and safety standards which reflects Arabian Adventures image as a service provider. </li> </ul> <p><b>Job Outline</b> <br /> </p><ul> <li>Monitor the discipline, grooming and the conduct of all Safari Guides & Camp Attendants ensuring that they comply with set standards and provide regular feedback to the Safari Officer for necessary corrective or appreciative action. Conduct the PM reviews for all the permanent Safari Guides. <br /> </li><li>Perform as a Safari Guide and lead a convoy of Safari 4WDs ensuring that the route is scenic and safe thereby ensuring customer satisfaction and not compromising on safety and security of the customers & vehicles. <br /> </li><li>Intervene is case of verbal customer dissatisfaction and take immediate remedial action to resolve the matter ensuring that the customer is satisfied with the services provided. Ensure that all written customer complaints received are objectively investigated with the relevant Safari Guide and in liaison with the Safari Officer recommend remedial/corrective action. <br /> </li><li>Based on the roster control the time and attendance recording of all full time and freelance Safari Guides ensuring that optimum utilisation of manpower. Monitor and record Safari Guide?s engagement times from the Back Track system ensuring proper and safe utilisation of vehicles. <br /> </li><li>Provide detailed feedback reports on trips organised and on special functions highlighting concerns and recording incidents that may have taken place on the trip. <br /> </li><li>Conduct route and camp inspection trips in close co-ordination with the Safari Officers, recommending changes where every necessary. Accompany Media, TV crews, photographers, etc. on trips and provide them with information on various scenic spots and locations. Accompany important groups and client inspection trips to plan safari operations of special trips and influence the decision of clients to use Arabian Adventures and Dubai. <br /> </li><li>Supervise and co-ordinate all the guest services related to F&B and comfort at the camps ensuring that high standards are maintained at all times. <br /> </li><li>Assist the Safari Officer in conducting Dune Driving Training for full time/part time drivers and stand-in for Safari Operations Executives in their absence and conduct daily briefings etc. <br /> </li><li>In cases of emergency ensure that necessary procedures are followed in order to safeguard the clients and protect the image of the company. </li> </ul> <p> <br /><b>Qualifications</b> </p><ul> <li>10 Years schooling or equivalent </li><li>Minimum of 4 years experience of which a minimum of one years should be at a supervisory capacity overseeing Safari Guides and handling customers independently. </li><li>Must possess a valid UAE driving licence. </li><li>Detailed knowledge of Northern Emirates (off-road routes). </li><li>A good knowledge of the UAE, its culture, heritage, wildlife (flora & fauna), local hotels & service industry. </li><li>First Aid & Safety procedures. </li><li>Excellent knowledge of mechanical aspects of a 4WD. </li><li>High level of fluency in spoken & written English. </li><li>Computer literate and able to use MS Office Applications. </li><li>Proven ability to work independently while on Safari trips with minimum amount of supervision and strong communication skills in both written and spoken skills. </li><li>Should possess good customer service skills in order to deal with customers and Safari Guides. </li> </ul> <p><b>Experience</b> </p><ul> <li>Commercial/Sales.Tours (Inbound) 5 Years </li> </ul> <p> <br /><b>Salary & Benefits:</b>We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE. The Dirham is linked to the Special Drawing Right of the International Monetary Fund. It has been held constant against the US dollar since the end of 1980 at a mid-rate of approximately US$1= Dh3.66.
