Mould Technician

<p>My client is one of the world&rsquo;s leading motorsport and automotive technology businesses employing people in operations in the UK, India, China and Australia.</p> <p>In this role you will be required to assist the Health &amp; Safety manager in providing a cost efficient, integrated Facilities and Health and Safety function to the company.</p> <p><b>&nbsp;</b></p> <p>In&nbsp;this role you will&nbsp;be responsible for storage, maintenance, manufacture and preparation of moulds and patterns to a high quality for production components. And to help with cover in running of the autoclaves, as well as de-bagging components when required.</p> <p><b>&nbsp;</b></p> <p><b>&nbsp;</b></p> <p><b>Key responsibilities: </b></p> <p><b>&nbsp;</b></p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Versatile and prepared to undertake varied tasks and keen to learn new skills.</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; To ensure that patterns / moulds / components are carefully handled and that all reasonable care is taken to prevent any form of damage being caused to them.</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; To advise the Senior Technician of any additionally quality / process issues during mould preparation.</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; To be able to show flexibility, prepared to work overtime, with responsible notice, if requested by Management.</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; To carry out duties requested by the Management as the needs of the business may from time to time dictate.</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Be aware of good working practices related to Composite Component manufacture.</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; To keep the place of work in a tidy, clean and safe condition at all times.</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; To maintain and develop skill levels in all aspects of mould preparation.</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; To maintain thorough and current product knowledge and read all technical information as supplied.</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; To adopt safe working practices at all times in compliance with Health and Safety regulations and company policy, drawing to the attention of Supervisory, Management Staff any matter of concern relating to safety of equipment or safety procedures.</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; To achieve daily set targets.</p> <p>Please contact <a href="mailto:Luke.farrow@aeropeople.com">Luke.farrow@aeropeople.com</a> for more information.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li><i>Only candidates with the right to live and work in the EU will be considered. </i> <p><i>Regrettably only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.</i></p> </li> </ul>
