About this role
<p><b>Tasks:</b></p> <ul> <li> Analyse customer product specifications and applicable regulations/ legislations for his perimeter on program.</li> <li> Define the product functional analysis (based on standard) to translate customer specifications and internal requirements into clear product performance criteria.</li> <li> Define the product functional analysis (based on standard) to translate customer specifications and internal requirements into clear product performance criteria. Propose FIS commitment on these criteria, and get approval form Product Line POC about it.</li> <li> ensure that the design meets the defined performance; work closely with the product design engineer.</li> <li>Create/document product improvement ECR</li> <li>Lead the KPC identification, valorization, and formalization. Lead DFMEA</li> <li>Ensure consistency between GD&T (incl. Tolerance stacks) and process feasibility.</li> <li>Define BOP specifications Support Make or Buy. Participate to SNC for BOP (ensure consistency between BOP specifications and suppliers commitments). Formalize Purchase Requests for BOP tools kick off and modifications.</li> <li>Support the PDL to reach the quality, costs and timing targets of the program</li> <li>At the end of a program, make appropriate capitalization documents (Lessons learned, Technical Reports) to feed/improve Product Line Standards and Guidelines</li> </ul> <p><b> </b><b>Requirements:</b></p> <ul> <li> Profile suggested : Development Engineer</li> <li> Language: Good German and English</li> <li> Experience with BMW parts would be an advantage</li> <li> with more than 5 years automotive interior experience</li> <li> Availability to travel</li> </ul>
