About this role
Accountable to deputize for Head of Medical services, Aid in updating protocols, liaise between company doctors and Head of Medical Services Providing medical care to Qatar Airways staff. Provide medical care to the Qatar Airways employees, delivering the highest standards of medical care to the Qatar Airways employees ascertaining they are well supported. Key accountabilities include: § Manage patients. § Perform pre-employment medicals. § Perform initial and renewal cabin crew medicals and certification. § Aid in evaluation and implementation of occupational and preventative health programs § Assist in updating Medical Centre manuals and statistics. § Supervise company doctors. § Check duty roster for doctors. § Liaise between company doctors, and Head of Medical Services. § Resolve doctor-doctor or doctor-nurses/receptionist grievances. § Aid in formatting, preparing and monitoring the budget. § Perform other department duties related to his position as directed by the head of the department. § Respect and comply with legislations, ethics and beliefs. To be successful in this role you will hold MBBS from an internationally recognized University. Registration with Qatar MOH. Post Graduate Qualification in Aviation /Occupational Medicine is preferable. Min. 7 years post MBBS clinical experience. Min 2 years experience in Occupational and/or Aviation Medicine. Intermediate Life Support Certification (Mandatory by MOH). Professional knowledge Of ICAO standards and requirements.
