Aviation Standards and Regulations Officer

<p>The State of Qatar Civil Aviation Authority has immediate requirement for an Aviation Standards and Regulations Officer with the following qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of College of Law with Bachelor degree in Political Science or equivalent</li> <li>A practicing professional lawyer with expertise in international aviation laws</li> <li>Has completed specialized ICAO Annexes and amendment process<br /> Possessed skill and ability in legal writing and in drafting national aviation regulations and changes to regulations</li> <li>Adequate knowledge of State&rsquo;s rule making system including enactment of laws, regulations promulgation and ensuing requirements publication</li> <li>Able to create and write operating procedures and manual with minimal supervision</li> <li>Excellent command of English language in both oral and written<br /> Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience as legal officer or aviation safety regulations enforcement officer in National Aviation Authority or International Aviation body; or has 5 years in service as civil aviation regulations advisor or equivalent to a National Aviation Authority or International airline</li> <li>Has been an aviation supervisor or equivalent responsible for safety oversight, monitoring and surveillance of commercial air transport operators or air carriers; and has been directly involved in the development and implementation of national aviation and regulations</li> </ul> <p>Please click on the <strong>'Apply Now' </strong>button to submit your CV and covering letter, or to request further information.</p>
