<p><strong>The State of Qatar Civil Aviation Authority has immediate requirement for a Flight Operations Inspector (Large Aeroplane) with the following required qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Holder of valid ATPL (Aeroplane) with minimum of 5000 Flying Hours as Pilot-in-Command on large aircraft and with aircraft type rating endorsement of at least two of any of the following: A320 family, A330, A340. A300-622R, B777, B787 and B747</li> <li>Had been directly involved in international air carriers or transport operators’ certification or validation and safety oversight & surveillance for a minimum of 3 years with any civil aviation authority or international civil aviation regulatory body, or 5 years of experience in management and supervision of a flight operations department or division in any international air carrier or air transport operator.</li> <li>Has adequate knowledge and experience in the issuance and maintenance of AOC and Operations Specifications; establishment and operation of State’s Safety Program and Operators’ SMS; safety oversight and monitoring process including certification of pilot training organizations and approvals of simulators.<br /> </li> <li>Has completed ICAO recognized Flight Operations Inspector’s Course, Quality Audit Course, Ramp Inspections and other related training courses including aircraft incident/accident investigation course.</li> <li>Must be proficient in English language both oral and written.</li> <li>Has excellent technical skill in writing technical policies, procedures and reports.</li> <li>Must have working knowledge and understanding of EASA OPS1/3, FAR135/121 and relevant ICAO Annexes.</li> <li>Have acceptable practical experience in aircraft incident/accident investigation and related activities.</li> <li>Should be tactful and has good working ethics and attitude.</li> <li>Computer literate</li> </ul> <p><strong>To submit your CV and covering letter by email or to request further information, please click on the 'Apply Now' button.</strong></p>
