<p><strong>CAE Parc Aviation </strong>on behalf of our client is seeking an experienced professional for the role of<strong> Senior Manager &ndash; Safety, Security, Quality and Environment</strong>.</p> <p>This is a full time role and would require relocation to South Asia.</p> <p>The Senior Manager will be is responsible to the CEO of our client, reporting to the Head of Safety and Quality. Our client is seeking an individual who has obtained experience across flight operations and technical services in the areas of Safety, Security, Quality and Environment.</p> <p>The responsibilities&nbsp; of the Senior Manager role will include but are not limited to:</p> <p>-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Continued compliance with the application Civil Aviation legislation and other requirements for the safe air transport operations of our client.</p> <p>-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Day to day administration, implementation, oversight, communication, development and maintenance of the safety management policy and Quality Management processes.</p> <p>-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Establishing and maintaining a safety management system including arrangements for identifying, reporting, tracking and correcting safety issues and for the initiation of preventive action where necessary. This includes membership of our client&rsquo;s Safety Board to monitor, advise and report on the performance of flight safety analysis program, risk issues and corrective actions.</p> <p>-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Undertaking safety audits of all operational and maintenance units and corporate aspects of safety management.</p> <p>-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Provide timely advice and assistance on aviation safety matters to Line Managers at all levels</p> <p>-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Reviewing and reporting on compliance with safety management policies, plans, systems and procedures and regulatory arrangements and standards, ensuring safety issues are reported in timely manner to the CEO</p> <p>-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Provide and ensure aviation safety training to personnel</p> <p>-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Managing the Quality Improvement (QI) process</p> <p>-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensure all events, incidents and accidents reported on and are investigated, and that any agreed follow &ndash;up action is implemented by the relevant Department Manager</p> <p>-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Supervise the process of dissemination of safety critical operational information to appropriate personnel within the flight operations organization, to include:<br /> --&nbsp; Airworthiness Directives (ADs)<br /> -- Manufacturer bulletins<br /> -- Flight crew bulletins or directives<br /> -- NOTAMs</p> <p>-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Conduct an aviation safety inspection of all our client&rsquo;s operations and facilities.</p> <p>To be considered for this senior full time position your experience to date should include:</p> <p>-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; A minimum of 5 years in safety, quality and security holding a management level position within &nbsp;a commercial operator.</p> <p>-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Previous experience as Post Holder in Quality Assurance is preferable.</p> <p>-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Have completed a recognised Safety Management System course</p> <p>-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Proven ability to lead, manage and coach team members</p> <p>-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Experience of working and living in South Asia would be beneficial</p> <p>If you wish to apply for this senior full time role, please send an updated CV to Sandra McGuirk, <a href="mailto:Sandra.mcguirk@cae.com">Sandra.mcguirk@cae.com</a>, or call 00 353 18161719 for additional information on this role.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
