<img src="http://counter.adcourier.com/c3V6eS40NTA4NS40MjRAcHJvdGVjdGVjaG5pY2FsLmFwbGl0cmFrLmNvbQ.gif" /><br />Aircraft Safety Risk and Reporting Lead - Bournemouth - Permanent - £/annum + benefits <br /> <br />We are looking for a highly experienced professional to manage and oversee the Safety team within an aircraft engineering business unit at our client site based in the South West. <br /> <br />Main duties will be to work across internal business areas, liaising with business managers in order to develop and maintain a safety risk management framework as part of a Safety Management System (SMS), including policy and procedure, ensuring compliance with the client's regulatory requirements and alignment to best-practice. <br /> <br />You will ideally have an MSc in Aviation Safety Management and be a current or ex-Licensed Engineer-turned-Pilot. <br /> <br />This is a senior, proactive, energetic role and you will be expected to regularly present to the Board of Directors and step in for the Safety Director in his absence. <br /> <br />You will only be considered for this position if you have the following essential skills and experience:- <br /> <br />- Extensive proven background setting up and implementing aircraft vehicle Safety Management Systems from an engineering perspective and related regulations (eg. ICAO/EASA). <br /> <br />- Extensive experience in aircraft incident/accident investigations. <br /> <br />- Previous experience in aerospace engineering is essential (ideally a current or ex-Licensed Engineer). <br /> <br />- Currently in the UK and able to pass UK security clearance (British passport + last five years UK-resident). <br /> <br />For more information please contact Suzy Lines on 01329 232221 or apply within.
