About this role
<p> The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of aircraft component repair management (normal and AOG priority), and supplier performance monitoring. They will also ensure timely sourcing and repair of aircraft spares and other materials to support aircraft on ground (AOG) situations and scheduled maintenance at Doha and throughout the Qatar Airways network. </p> <p> </p> <p> <strong>To be successful in this role you will be/have:</strong> </p> <p> </p> <p> • University Graduate preferably post graduate from an international university.<br />• Minimum 10 years working experience in the field of Supply Chain in aviation industry or with a minimum 5 years of aircraft component repair management experience.<br />• Ability to understand Technical Publications related to aircraft an advantage.<br />• Must be a team player, analytical, flexible, sound judgment, good planning and organizational skills.<br />• Excellent oral and written communication skills </p> <p> </p> <p><br /> <strong>About Qatar Airways</strong><br />As the Middle East's only 5-star airline and one of the world's fastest growing carriers, Qatar Airways is dedicated to excellence in safety and customer service in the air and on the ground.
