<img src="http://counter.adcourier.com/c3V6eS41Njc0OC40MjRAcHJvdGVjdGVjaG5pY2FsLmFwbGl0cmFrLmNvbQ.gif" /><br />Avionics Systems Engineer - Dorset - Contract and Permanent - Immediate Start - £Excellent <br /> <br />We are seeking an experienced Avionics Systems Engineer for both a permanent and contract position in the South West. <br /> <br />Working within the Systems Engineering team, this role will focus on new product development and will include developing and qualifying systems and equipment throughout the entire project lifecycle. <br /> <br />Main duties will cover the lifecycle from customer requirement-gathering and analysis; development to equipment level; sending out to supply-chains; acceptance-testing, through to final build. <br /> <br />Ideally you will come from an aerospace background but automotive or engineering (safety critical) industries will be considered. <br /> <br />You will have extensive experience in the product lifecycle from scoping through to delivery and be prepared to oversee and mentor small teams where necessary, as well as adhere to and support internal process improvement. <br /> <br />To be considered for this position, you must have the following essential experience:- <br /> <br />- Extensive engineering background in avionics <br />- Development of electronic hardware and integrating hardware and software <br />- In-depth knowledge of components and equipment manufacturing <br />- Systems engineering lifecycle processes <br />- System architecture; pump; structural; power distribution <br />- Previous experience in systems and new product development <br />- Relevant degree or associated qualification <br />- Be currently living in the UK and able to pass UK security clearance <br /> <br />For more information please apply within or contact Suzy Lines on 01329 232221 or email s.lines@protectechnical.co.uk <br />
