About this role
The Manager Cargo Business Development and Global Accounts will be responsible for Marketing and promotions of cargo products and services whilst managing global accounts of top global forwarders/ customers. In addition the successful candidate will be responsible for : <p>-Achieving annual revenue and tonnage target forecasted for global accounts<br />-Independently managing top Global accounts and key customers whilst developing/specializing new business opportunities/products for QR Cargo complementing the global cargo business goal<br />-Enhancing QR Exposure and participation to Global forwarders whilst maximizing QR Cargo presence in the market<br />-Defining and enhancing key accounts program and effective strategies for top global customers<br />-Effectively communicating strategies and developments of global accounts internally/externally<br />-Reporting to management on global accounts performance and statistics<br />-Preparing business and marketing plans in order to optimize revenue opportunities<br />-Active involvement in preparation of budgets for Global accounts, Marketing and Manpower for the unit<br />-Ensure timely marketing, advertising and promotional activity for QR Cargo whilst ensuring maximum participation in global events.<br />-Proposing, managing and coordinating events successfully for Cargo Department<br />-Effectively leading, coaching, training and developing staff within the unit<br /></p> Qualification & Experience · University Graduate preferably in Sales and Marketing or Commerce/Economics · Higher education in mathematics and Analytical studies · 07 years in the airline/airfreight/GSA industry, preferably experience in a managerial role for 2 years in a cargo airline/freight forwarder · Diploma in Public relations preferred · Excellent Presentation skills · Hands-on experience in air cargo sales and marketing · Negotiation skills About Qatar Airways As the Middle East's only 5-star airline and one of the world's fastest growing carriers, Qatar Airways is dedicated to excellence in safety and in customer service, in the air and on the ground.
