<b>Qatar Duty Free</b>, a subsidiary of Qatar Airways, one of the world's fastest growing airlines with an expanding route network covering Middle East, Far East, Africa, Asia, Europe and USA, is providing high quality duty free operations at Doha International Airport. Job Description To negotiate the best possible price and terms with suppliers, to generate new promotional activities with their support, ensure the logistical chain functions nominally, carry out continuous price comparisons both with competitors and the domestic market, and process all necessary paper-work. Ensure all budgets and targets are achieved. Key performance indicators are detailed extensively under the following: · Sales, Merchandising & Display, Stock, Supplier Relations, Policies & Procedures, Security and General. · To work with the executive chef to plan and calculate standard recipies and menus ensuring they are compliant with SOPs and approved budgets. · Planning the best stock investment levels so as to achieve the acceptable stock turn rate. · To maintain and constant update a supplier file for the company with all relevant product information. · Proven track record in the ability to manage stock on a day-to-day basis, direct hands-on experience with Oracle / Navision inventory management, Strong analytical skills and understanding of statistical process control. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, a strong leader as well as have very good presentation skills. Ideally you will have 5 years experience in buying catering, multi restaurant or hotel purchasing / stores environment. A Bachelors Degree in Purchasing, Retailing, Marketing and or Business Administration wills an advantage.
