<p>Strongfield Technologies (Quebec) Inc. - Srongfield Aviation plc (UK)<strong><br /> <br /> Project Engineer<br /> <br /> </strong>Responsibilities:<br /> In your role, you will be asked to:</p> <ul> <li>You will provide project management support for multiple projects dealing with changes to the basic</li> <li>aircraft, options and in-service issues.</li> <li>For assigned projects, you will be responsible for establishing the project scope, defining</li> <li>implementation strategies &amp; risks and presenting business cases.</li> <li>For approved projects you will also be responsible for preparing &amp; maintaining schedules, cost control &amp; progress reports.</li> <li>You will support the Cell for the delivery of engineering solutions (drawings, modsums, etc) and</li> <li>ensure functional groups meet their commitments until successful implementation.</li> </ul> <p>Job Qualifications:<br /> The ideal candidate meets these requirements:</p> <ul> <li>You have a university degree in engineering and/or a related field and/or minimum of five (5) years</li> <li>equivalent experience in the aerospace industry.</li> <li>You must have proven experience in project management and/or project engineering.</li> <li>To be successful in the role, you need to demonstrate superior organizational and leadership skills and feel comfortable in a dynamic and changing work environment.</li> <li>A high level of communication skills in both French and English is required.</li> <li>Preference will be given to candidates who are PMP members of the PMI (Program Management</li> <li>Institute).</li> <li>Knowledge of the Bombardier Engineering System and Change management process &quot;CERPI&quot; would be an asset.<strong><br /> </strong></li> </ul> <p>This position is located in Montreal and Mirabel, Quebec.<br /> <br /> <strong>Please click on the<em> 'Apply Now' </em>button for further information and to apply - </strong><em><strong>this is an urgent requirement and the deadline for applications is Wednesday</strong></em><em><strong> 22 August</strong></em></p>
