<p>Strongfield Technologies (Quebec) Inc. - Srongfield Aviation plc (UK)<strong><br /> <br /> R,M&amp;S&ndash;Mechanical Engineer<br /> <br /> </strong>Job Description</p> <ul> <li>The candidate will be part of the Core R,M&amp;S team, which is supporting R&amp;D, BUs and New Aircraft Product Development program during the conception, specification, design, analysis, integration, development and test of the various disciplines.</li> <li>The candidate will participate in the trade-off studies, system functional hazard analysis, aircraft and system fault tree analysis, system safety assessment, failure mode and effect analysis and the writing of the final R,M&amp;S certification report.</li> </ul> <p>The duties might also require participation in the certification activities. This will involve co-ordination of technical issues and solutions across all Bombardier, Partner/Supplier, Regulatory and Customer parties<br /> <br /> Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>The candidate shall be an university graduate in mechanical engineering with at least 10 years R,M&amp;S experience. General aircraft system knowledge is required.</li> <li>The candidate has a strong electro-mechanical background with knowledge in electrical power distribution and has an excellent understanding of aircraft performance characteristics, aircraft systems definition, integration, interfaces, component qualification, reliability and safety requirements and certification process.</li> <li>The candidate has preferably been directly involved in the aircraft definition and certification.</li> <li>The candidate must be very cognizant of the relevant Airworthiness Regulations and certification process.</li> <li>The candidate shall also have the ability to communicate sound technical proposals and work status to senior management, be a team player, a self-motivated person and be able to work under pressure.</li> <li>The candidate must also show a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.</li> <li>Good oral and technical writing skills in English are required (French is an asset).</li> <li>Basic knowledge of MS Office and CAFTA/Relex/Isograph is required.<strong><br /> </strong></li> </ul> <p>This position is located in Montreal, Quebec.<br /> <br /> <strong>Please click on the<em> 'Apply Now' </em>button for further information and to apply - </strong><em><strong>this is an urgent requirement and the deadline for applications is Wednesday</strong></em><em><strong> 22 August</strong></em></p>
