<p>Strongfield Technologies (Quebec) Inc. - Srongfield Aviation plc (UK)<strong><br /> <br /> Structural Designer<br /> <br /> </strong>Responsibilities:<br /> As part of the Integrated Product Development Team (IPDT), you will be responsible to exchange on concepts and ideas and transform them into reality.<br /> You will therefore produce detail and installation drawings by ensuring that you follow the Bombardier Engineering System (BES).<br /> <br /> You may also be asked to:</p> <ul> <li>Participate in design reviews and exchange / communicate your thoughts.</li> <li>Provide estimate of design related activities.</li> <li>Support suppliers, production and final line installations.</li> </ul> <p>Job Qualifications<br /> The ideal candidate meets these requirements:</p> <ul> <li>You have a college or University mechanical or aerospace engineering degree or equivalent with a</li> <li>minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.</li> <li>You also possesses or cumulate experience in:<br /> o Design of aircraft structures with CATIA V4 or V5<br /> o Ability to understand complex engineering issues<br /> o General computer skills</li> <li>Knowledge of CATIA V5 is a definite asset.</li> <li>You must be a self-motivated person, a team player able to work under pressure and under a minimum of supervision.</li> <li>You also demonstrate an excellent track record of meeting your commitments with success.</li> <li>Being completely bilingual (French and English) is an asset.<strong><br /> </strong></li> </ul> <p><strong><br /> </strong>This position is located in Montreal, Quebec.<br /> <br /> <strong>Please click on the<em> 'Apply Now' </em>button for further information and to apply - </strong><em><strong>this is an urgent requirement and the deadline for applications is Wednesday</strong></em><em><strong> 22 August</strong></em></p>
