About this role

<p><strong>Material and Process Engineer</strong><br /> <br /> Responsibilities<br /> In your role, you will be asked to:</p> <ul> <li>&nbsp;Perform an analysis of SAC's existing processes, assess the gaps to Bombardier's standards, and help them define &amp; implement acceptable processes and finally audit them.</li> <li>Perform a diversified range of engineering functions such as evaluating various metallic materials and processes and their limitations, support Manufacturing and Quality Assurance with our supply chain.</li> <li>You will also support an integrated product development team (IPDT), you will have to ensure that the design meets the Material and Processes requirements. You will be supporting an onsite design team.</li> <li>You will devise qualification test plans, analyze results, make non-conformance dispositions, support</li> <li>in-service departments, and address new environmental regulations impacting Bombardier etc. You</li> <li>are familiar with Composites, Aluminum, and Titanium, steel, cres properties and their processing.</li> <li>Being a more senior position, you will be required to handle difficult issues and provide regular status updates to management.</li> </ul> <p><br /> Job Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>The ideal candidate meets these requirements:</li> <li>You have a degree in Metallurgical Engineering</li> <li>You have a minimum of five (5) years experience in an aerospace or military environment</li> <li>Knowledge of aircraft systems would be an asset</li> <li>You are knowledgeable about typical military and/or aerospace industry standards such as MIL specs, Federal, Boeing, etc.</li> <li>You have shown leadership and successes in your field solving difficult problems</li> <li>Excellent communication skills, excellent written and spoken French and English are required</li> <li>You must be able to work in a team environment and interact constantly with other professionals and technicians</li> <li>You must have an excellent knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Office, graphical and design package.</li> </ul> <p><br /> <strong>Please click on the <em>'Apply Now'</em> button for further information and to apply - </strong><em><strong>this is an urgent requirement and the deadline for applications is Wednesday 22 August</strong></em></p>
