<img src="http://counter.adcourier.com/c3V6eS41MjQ0Mi40MjRAcHJvdGVjdGVjaG5pY2FsLmFwbGl0cmFrLmNvbQ.gif" /><br />Senior Design Engineer (CVE) - Bournemouth - Permanent - £Excellent <br /> <br />Our client, a leading company in the Defence and Aerospace sector is currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Structures Design Engineer to fulfil the function of a Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) within a permanent capacity based in the Dorset area. <br /> <br />Duties will include:- <br /> <br />- Supervising your own team (both permanent and contract staff) and instructing a CAD team. <br /> <br />- Attend and chair design reviews and progress meetings <br /> <br />- Take ownership of civil and military documentation as CVE and authorised design signatory <br /> <br />- Manage the mechanical design aspects of aircraft modification projects through to certification <br /> <br />- All customer-facing activities and internal departments, sub-contractor and supplier liaison <br /> <br />To be considered for this position, you must have the following essential skills and experience:- <br /> <br />- Previous experience as an EASA 21J CVE authorised signatory <br /> <br />- Previous Design Team-management experience <br /> <br />- Ability to pass UK security clearance (British passport). <br /> <br />- Excellent spoken and written English language skills. <br /> <br />For more information please contact Suzy Lines on 01329 232221 or apply within.
