About this role
Responsible for providing a range of HR and Payroll services to the Qatar Airways Group and the job holder will be responsible for processing of payroll transactions relating to all permanent and contractual staff accurately and in a timely manner. Optimize contribution of the team by guiding the stake holders and implementing workable solutions to HR and Salary Admin related issues / problems raised by business units with minimum referral to the HR higher management. Key accountabilities include: § Provide a range of HR services to employees from joining to expiry of contract and assisting in all matters relating to payroll matters. § Maintaining and process payroll records and reports for accounting of salary/wages, accruals, deductions and other HR and payroll functions. § Oversee processing of payroll, check exceptions and court ordered deductions. § Enforces established payroll related policies, procedures and regulations. § Respond and communicate effectively to queries with regard to payroll policies and procedures raised by business units and employees. § Ensure and check routine calculations, salary figures entered in computer system prior to payroll closing. To be successful in this role you will ideally hold a Bachelors Degree from a recognized university. A minimum of 5 years job related experience required. Strong time management & organization skills, attention to detail and follow through to resolve any outstanding issues. Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow.
