Receiver – Bonded Stores

Receiver- Bonded Stores will be mainly responsible for receiving of incoming Bonded Stores shipments and for the management of Bonded Stores inventory and supplies by following proper policies, processes and procedures. Main duties include:   §  Receiving of Bonded Stores food, beverage, dry and equipment items. §  Arranging properly the offload and stacking of the goods received. §  Checking  the quantity and quality of all items received §  Checking and recording of expiration dates of items received §  Following up with suppliers to check on status of shipment s as and when required. §  Ordering and regular checking of inventory  to keep and maintain par stock levels §  Creating shipment and inventory related reports on weekly and monthly basis §  Arranging customs clearance as and when needed. §  Transferring  food, beverage, dry and equipment items to where needed  for daily operations §  Performing of additional duties as assigned by management.   Qualification/Experience:   §  Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline §  Holder of valid Light Vehicle Driving License §  Physically fit with ability to multi task, work any shift, stand for long time and  lift 20+ kg §  Minimum of (2+) years experience in similar role within catering/airline/stores. §  Strong working knowledge of stock ordering and management; control and receiving of inventory; store keeping; and In-Flight and Bonded Stores operations. §  Strong communication, English, analytical and organizational skills §  Proficiency in computers, MS Office and inventory and receiving ERP IT systems. §  Ability to operate office equipment such as photocopiers, fax machines etc.   About Qatar Airways   As the Middle East's only 5-star airline and one of the world's fastest growing carriers, Qatar Airways is dedicated to excellence in safety and in customer service, in the air and on the ground.  The company applies the same philosophy to its people by providing them with diverse career opportunities and continual development.
