About this role
<p>Stress Engineer for Aero Engines / Nacelle and Structures: <br /> Duties and responsibilities:</p> <p>Manufacture of standardisation and licensing reports.<br /> Independent realisation of static and dynamic FE stress analyses as well as hand calculations. <br /> Defining, accompanying and evaluate of structural tests.<br /> Examine of supplier-stress analyses.<br /> Leading of discussions with the supplier.<br /> Organisation and coordination of stress projects with hardware suppliers as well as with Off-Load suppliers.</p> <p>Required : <br /> Minimum several years experience within the aerospace or similar industry.<br /> Strong knowledge in metallic aeronautic structures.<br /> Strong knowledge in strength and fatigue analysis. Good knowledge in composite technologies.<br /> Good knowledge of vibration testing and assessment. <br /> Good communication and negotiation skills .<br /> Skill of independently organising tasks and their interface to other skill groups. <br /> Experience in IT-Tools and Patran/Nastran/Hyperworks .<br /> Knowledge in qualification standards.</p> <p>This position is offered under a Work Package basis.</p> <p>Candidates must currently hold the right to live and work in Germany for this role ( EU Passport holder).<br /> </p>
