About this role
. Compliance & Quality Assurance Co-coordinator will be responsible for : Providing support to Compliance and Quality Assurance Team which involves ensuring adherence to all legislation and best practices within In flight Service both in Doha and at all overseas stations whilst ensuring that the airline maintains its 5 star award winning service. This includes, but is not limited to, coordination of various efforts related to: Food Safety, Halal, Security, Ramp Safety, Quality and etc. Specific accountabilities include : •Maintaining QR food safety policy while ensuring compliance to all food safety legislation •Collating Food Safety, Alleged Food Poisoning, Foreign Body and Flight Safety databases which involves producing statistics and reports for analysis and review by management •Maintaining QR Catering Security policy ensuring that the requirements of individual countries are known and that processes and procedures are amended accordingly •Assisting with audits as required by the departmental audit plan and the collating the reports •Maintaining QR In flight Catering handbook which involves ensuring that the contents are relevant, up to date and within guidelines published on time and distributed accordingly •Assisting food sampling for assigned stations to ensure compliance to specifications agreed during menu presentations •Assisting with training of In-flight Services team on areas related to Food Safety, Halal, Security and Auditing procedures •Deputizing for the Compliance and Quality Assurance Officers as required Qualifications, Experience & Skills : • Secondary school certificate/diploma or equivalent education • Recognized advanced food safety/hygiene qualifications • (5+) years experience working in a compliance coordination related role • Experience in Food Safety, Security, Halal Compliance, Quality Assurance Programmes • Ability to work under pressure while multi tasking • Good communication, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills.
