<p>Transport Malta is a government authority set up to assume the functions previously exercised by the Malta Maritime Authority, the Malta Transport Authority and the Department of Civil Aviation.</p> <p>Transport Malta&rsquo;s Civil Aviation Directorate is seeking applications from interested persons to fill the following positions:<br /> <br /> <strong>Flight Operations Inspector<br /> Ref: PAHRO/08/2010/ 34 - ETC/230/2011 </strong><br /> <br /> The appointed person will be responsible for providing professional input in the development and implementation of a comprehensive programme for maintaining a civil aviation oversight of Maltese aircraft operators.<br /> <br /> The selected candidate must be in possession of: a Current JAR-FCL Airline Transport Pilot License with type rating on large transport or corporate jet aircraft; a minimum of 5,000 hours as pilot-in-command of civil or military aircraft; at least five years experience as a Flight Operations Inspector within a Civil Aviation Authority or operational management as an airline pilot and designated examiner, or training instructor, or as a military pilot where equivalent experience in air transport operations would have been acquired; experience in auditing techniques and other related skills and qualities.<br /> <br /> Job Descriptions are available from Transport Malta&rsquo;s Human Resource Unit (email: recruitment.tm@transport.gov.mt)<br /> <br /> Interested persons are kindly requested to submit an application and a detailed CV only by email (as one pdf document), just click on the<strong> 'Apply Now'</strong> button to submit your application by <strong>13th November 2012</strong>.
