<p>We are currently recruiting for a permanent position:<br /> <br /> Lead Design Engineer for Systems Installation - North America (m/f)</p> <p>Description:<br /> We are currently looking for a Lead Design Engineer (m/f) for Systems Installation to work on primary/secondary structure and mechanical systems.</p> <p>Tasks:<br /> - Discuss technical requirements with the customer.<br /> - Share this data with the other team members (specifically stress domains).<br /> - Ensure these requirements are integrated into the Design through appropriate means (drawing validations, DMU Reviews, etc.).<br /> - Suggest technical solutions to improve the product (weight reduction, most economic new materials or solutions, new processes or improved methods of working ...).<br /> - Guarantee engineering deliverables compatible with production schedule constraints..<br /> - Manage the team members and follow up on their reporting<br /> - Manage interfaces with the customer and other stakeholders.<br /> - Validate the design.<br /> - Report to management on a regular basis.<br /> - Support the manufacturing process and evaluate non conformities.</p> <p>Qualification and knowledge:<br /> To be considered for this opportunity you will need to hold a qualification of at least degree level or equivalent in engineering.<br /> Interested candidates should have experience in the aerospace industry <strong>and in hydraulic systems</strong>.<br /> Experience with composite and metallic structures is mandatory.</p> <p>Tools: CATIA V5</p> <p>US Citizens and Green Card Holders are encouraged to apply.<br /> European Citizens may be Visa eligible.<br /> <br /> We are looking forward to receiving your online application including an up-to-date CV and details of your earliest availability.</p>
