About this role
Responsible for managing and monitoring small to medium size projects with target to achieve the scheduled completion dates within the constraints of budget and to the satisfaction of stakeholders. Evaluate project status at regular intervals by setting up milestones and updating mechanisms for Project Manager. This position demands high level of coordination with stakeholders, consultants, contactors and colleagues within the department. Key accountabilities include: · Head project meetings to collect and disseminate information pertaining to projects. · Review and resolve project affecting factors/components. · Review technical specifications with the consultants. · Monitor project cost activities to achieve an "in budget" result. · Monitor field work including contract work to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, specifications and codes. · Prepare project reports in relation with the project completion dates. · Evaluate project performance of functional areas. · Supervise technical testing, survey or field engineering teams. · Assist in client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects. To be successful in this role you will hold a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited internationally recognized University. Minimum 10 years of job-related experience required with at least 6 years of experience in the Middle East as Senior Project Engineer. Must have high proficiency in written and spoken English with an excellent capability in written technical skills.
