About this role
<img src="http://counter.adcourier.com/Z2FyeS50YXlsb3IuNjEyNzMuNDI0QHJlZWRnbG9iYWwuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t.gif" /><br />Candiates are expected to carry out the following duties: <br /> <br />Prepare detailed drawings to enable in-house and sub contract manufacturing <br />Prepare detailed drawings that satisfy in-house assembly techniques <br />Generate BOM's that satisfy build methodology <br />Generation and optimisation of mechanical design concepts <br />Work with Engineering and Science teams <br />Work in accordance with the company procedures and quality standards <br />Key requirements: <br /> <br />All applicants are required to have the following; <br />Proven experience with CATIA V5 to produce component designs, layout and detail drawings <br />Proven experience of manufacturing, machining and assembly techniques <br />Proven experience in the design and drawing office environment <br />Thorough understanding of BS 8888 and geometric tolerance definition and application <br />Minimum of an HNC in a design / manufacturing subject <br /> <br />Reed Specialist Recruitment Limited is an employment agency and employment business.
