<p>Our customer works in very close partnership with the MOD.</p> <p>Due to a period of significant growth they are seeking to appoint a Systems Engineer Team Leader with a mechanical bias to join their operation based in Oxfordshire.</p> <p><strong>Essential job holder qualifications & experience.</strong></p> <p>EASA Part 66 B1 Licence or equivalent</p> <p>Previous demonstrable experience in a Technical Services role, preferably involving the management of the civil type aircraft. </p> <p>Previous demonstrable leadership/management experience, preferably within a Technical Services role.</p> <p>Demonstrable ability to work within a multi skilled team.</p> <p>Demonstrable ability to manage and influence relationships with sub-contract service providers.</p> <p>Demonstrable ability to manage and influence relationships with sub-contract providers and regulatory bodies.</p> <p>Demonstrable experience in working with complex Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) IT systems for the purposes of aircraft technical management</p> <p>Experience working on a new airline start up project, including the development of technical management solutions.</p> <p>Desirable job holder qualifications & experience</p> <p>EASA Licence B1 or a recognised post graduate technical qualification.</p> <p>A330 Type rating or EASA Licence</p> <p>Demonstrable experience in developing and managing technical procedures manuals and company expositions.</p> <p>Job description responsibilities</p> <p>Oversight and management control of Appendix II Sub-contracted Systems TSE</p> <p>Oversight of fleet compliance.</p> <p>Managing Airworthiness Directive, Service Bulleting and Modification embodiment.</p> <p>Setting up Airworthiness Directives, and Engineering Orders on the company’s integrated IT system.</p> <p>Develop procedures for the integration of approved modifications into the FSTA fleet.</p> <p>Systems Reliability (day to day, through analysis of defect reports, repetitive defects, trend monitoring and also preparing reports for company Reliability Meetings in conjunction with the MPRE.</p> <p>Monitor aircraft systems, flight characteristics and aircraft performance through the reliability programme.</p> <p>Assisting technical admin and check planning (tooling and spares).</p> <p>Process technical queries and disseminate information through technical instructions.</p> <p>Managing aircraft damage reports.</p> <p>Investigate design faults arising throughout the life cycle.</p> <p>Investigate failed aircraft components.</p> <p>Work out and manage schedules for repair and maintenance.</p> <p>Assess aircraft manufacturer and OEMs information on aircraft structure and mechanical systems and recommend and co-ordinate implementation when approved.</p> <p>Liaison with the manufacturer and OEMs to obtain approved data for repairs/rectification.</p> <p>Provide technical query assistance to line and base maintenance.</p> <p>Evaluate new and used aircraft configuration and advise senior management.</p> <p>Instigate and attend design review meetings as required.</p> <p>Analysis of defects and reliability data within established standards to ensure suitable and adequate changes are made to the programme in conjunction with MPRE.</p> <p>Provide technical support for the third party service provider.</p> <p>Maintain Health and Safety standards.</p> <p>Contact Simon Portway for further details</p>
