Based in Norfolk, my client produce speciality chemicals for the global market. With new investment and plans to increase its product portfolio, there has never been a better time to join this forward thinking organisation. <br /> <br />As an Electrical & Instrumentation Manager, you will oversee the implementation and commissioning of plant instrumentation. Duties include: <br /> <br />Day to day management and leadership of a team responsible for the design, implementation and commissioning of a wide range of electrical, instrumentation and control projects and improvements. <br />Acting as the designated site "Responsible Engineer" under the Electricity at Work regulations. <br />Ensuring compliance of all electrical work undertaken on site with the legislative requirements of a top tier COMAH site. <br /> <br />For this role the successful candidate will have a strong background in the management of electrical projects within a plant/flammable atmosphere. Key skills/experience include: <br />Broad knowledge of electrical, instrumentation and control systems (including low voltage electrical systems and process instrumentation). <br />Experience and understanding of instrumentation suitable for explosive/flammable atmospheres. <br />At least an HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant subject with demonstrable experience in a chemical/production/plant environment. <br />Experience as a manager or team leader. <br />Ideally candidates will be of Chartered Engineer status. <br /> <br />In return for your services, my client will offer a starting salary between £40-60K per annum depending on skills and experience.
