About this role

<p>Contribute to the development of airspace planning as a member of the ANS Management team.</p> <p>Participate in development of ANS operational plans and budgets to contribute to the overall objectives of ANS.</p> <p>&nbsp;Lead implementation of performance based navigation PBN in UAE airspace.</p> <p>Plan undertake and document navigation error monitoring as part of the planning and safety assurance process for lateral navigation within the Emirates FIR.</p> <p>Collect and process traffic data for on going RVSM safety assurance and participate in the MID RMA work.</p> <p>&nbsp;Liaise with the ACC and other ATS units with view to identifying problems affecting the safety or efficiency of the airspace system.</p> <p>&nbsp;Ensure airspace design is carried out in accordance with applicable ICAO standards recommended practices &nbsp;procedures and guidance material.</p> <p>&nbsp;Review and draft proposals for revisions to operational letters of agreement with adjacent ATS units as directed by the EDANS.</p> <p>&nbsp;Establish and maintain aeronautical databases as required for provision of ATM.</p> <p>Evaluate compatibility of procedures versus equipment and prepare appropriate reports on change requirements.</p> <p>&nbsp;Participate in evaluation of ATM equipment being considered for acquisition for the Emirates ACC.</p> <p>&nbsp;Establish and maintain quality control procedures including a regular review of information exchanged with the ACC and other providers of ATS.</p> <p>&nbsp;Evaluate training requirements for ASM and ensure training is carried out to the required standards.</p> <p>&nbsp;Evaluate ASM staff performance and provide input as required to performance appraisal.</p> <p>&nbsp;Undertake other ATM related functions as directed by the Director ANS.</p> <p>&nbsp;Assist in design and maintenance of instrument flight procedures and obstacle evaluation and control for airports being provided ANS by the GCAA.</p> <p>&nbsp;Assist with studies and evaluations in PANS OPS related matters.</p> <p>&nbsp;Fully Qualified ATCO with significant experience at international facilities preferably similar environment.</p> <p>Through knowledge of ICAO Standards and Operating Practices with particular reference to airspace planning and management Air Traffic Services and fully qualified PANS OPS Designer.</p>
