<img src="http://counter.adcourier.com/c2ltb25wLjY1Njk4LjQyNEBhZXJvcGVvcGxlLmFwbGl0cmFrLmNvbQ.gif" /><br /><p>Our customer is at the forefront of today's cutting edge Aerospace MRO industry, offering a bespoke range or services airlines that operate state of the art modern fleets of commercial passenger aircraft.<br />Operating from a purpose built facility based in the Middle East; the opportunity for a Senior Manager with an unrivalled Heavy Maintenance background has become available.<br /><br />Job Purpose<br /><br />To ensure that Aircraft Maintenance production unit?s objectives are achieved by the strategic administration, monitoring control of all staff within the unit thus producing serviceable aircraft to the highest levels of quality, reliability and airworthiness standards to meet customer requirements in the most cost effect manner.<br /><br />Role Accountabilities <br /><br />Ensures that the planned Heavy Maintenance programs are accomplished within the time constraints of the planned program but with sufficient flexibility to meet operational demands.<br />Develop Aircraft Maintenance department strategies to ensure that medium and long term business objectives of the company are met.<br />The development and subsequent monitoring and control of a highly motivated and flexible work force shaped to meet department objectives of minimum manpower and maximum output at reduced cost levels.<br />The preparation of manpower and departmental budgets together with the effective management to meet targets.<br />Identify and advise performance targets for the units and the follow up action to correct shortfalls.<br />Advise VP on the economic and technical viability in respect of Aircraft Maintenance of any new potential customer requirements.<br />Advises VP of all significant airworthiness and reliability issues as may affect the company?s efficiency or economic performance.<br />Ensures that technical standards for continued safety of all maintenance carried out are monitored at all times.<br />Directs the management of the Aircraft Maintenance teams in the deployment, control and use of staff and resources, so that airworthiness, reliability and maintenance standards are continually maintained at levels acceptable to both quality department and legislative authorities.<br />Together with HR continually promote opportunities and guidance for further development of nationals within the company.<br />Sets goal & objectives in line with performance management system for team members.<br />Ensure that all team members are utilized in the best interest of as which may include redeployment of staff to another section within airframe services.<br /><br />Qualifications<br /><br />Professional Aircraft Engineering Degree or equivalent together with Management qualifications & ICAO type ii license.<br />Knowledge, Skills & Experience.<br /><br />A minimum of 12-15 years broad based experience in Aircraft Maintenance. Detailed knowledge of all aspects of airworthiness legislation and requirements to the satisfaction and acceptance of the regulatory authorities with a sound knowledge and background of Aircraft Maintenance.<br />Possession of Managerial skills based on previous experience especially related to man Management. The ability to communicate with all staff together with proven leadership styles is essential.<br />Minimum of 5 years in a Managerial position pertaining to Aircraft Maintenance.<br />Proven ability to produce budget and cost savings.<br /><br />An attractive TAX FREE annual salary & package will accompany this position.<br />Contact Simon Portway for full details.<br />Regrettably only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.</p>
