<img src="http://counter.adcourier.com/c2ltb25wLjYxNDA5LjQyNEBhZXJvcGVvcGxlLmFwbGl0cmFrLmNvbQ.gif" /><br /><p>Our customer is a world leader in the provision of global commercial air travel, operating a state of the art fleet that has particular focus and pride in its unrivalled business class on board facilities.<br />Based in the vibrant city of Abu Dhabi an opportunity for a Cabin Appearance Deputy Manager has become available.<br /><br />JOB PURPOSE<br />The Cabin Appearance Duty Manager is responsible to the Manager Cabin Maintenance for conformance to all CAR-OPS 1 requirements during incorporation of Cabin Maintenance. This will include Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and NRs ensuring they are carried out in accordance with AMM, CMM, and Cabin Standards Manual with adherence to Fleet Sub-Part M (maintenance) approval within the company Air Operator Certificate (AOC). <br /><br />JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES<br />1 Liaise closely with all concerned departments to ensure communication and coordination of cabin maintenance activities.<br />2 Review and monitor the status of cabin maintenance work assigned ensuring high standards of quality and work is carried out in accordance with AMM, CMM and the Cabin Standards manual.<br />3 Resolve technical problems and provide effective solutions in accordance with all policies and standards <br />4 He is specifically responsible to and manages and coaches all works and contracted suppliers who physically perform Cabin Maintenance. He analyses and monitors the condition of fleet cabin condition, and the work performance of the staff and parties involved.<br />5 Working with and assisting fleet Engineering, external BFE vendors in resolving in-service issues and providing probable causes and solutions. <br />6 To evaluate technical information from various parties and to then makes competent decisions to provide clear direction to your Shift Leaders & Team Leaders.<br />7 Keep teams updated with latest cabin technical information through regular staff briefings.<br />8 Ensure workplace safety, effective working practices and compliance with all policies and procedures.<br />9 Monitoring aircraft documentation to ensure it is completed in an accurate and timely manner and ensuring that the aircraft cabins are certified for release to service.<br />10 Proactively monitor his staffs health and safety requirements and raise risk assessments when required.<br /><br /><br />KEY DIMENSIONS & RELATED JOB RESULTS<br />Budget accountability of AED. 3.2 Million USD cabin technician labour contract, 3.3 Million USD cabin interior Cleaning contract.<br />Direct reports: 4 Shift Leaders & 12 Team leaders <br />Indirect reports: 85 Cabin Technicians <br /><br />OPERATING ENVIRONMENT<br />Operates on a shifting pattern 4 on 2 off, may be required to work longer hours when necessary to support urgent cabin maintenance activities.<br /><br />QUALIFICATION & EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & KNOWLEDGE<br />Qualification & Education:<br />Must have had formal training of an aeronautical nature and be a holder of JAR 66 license, in addition have extensive knowledge in Cabin Maintenance gained through experience.<br /><br />Experience:<br />Post holder must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of cabin maintenance gained over a period of not less than 10 years, with a proven track of success in cabin maintenance from previous employment.<br /><br />Training & Knowledge:<br />Excellent written and verbal communication skills <br />High computer literacy<br />Excellent knowledge of aviation regulations (e.g. JAA, EASA, FAA and/or UAE GCAA)<br />Excellent knowledge of cabin line maintenance operations .<br />An attractive TAX FREE annual salary & package will accompany this position.<br />Contact Simon Portway for full details.<br />Regrettably only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.</p>
