<p><strong>POLICE/HEMS HELICOPTER PILOTS<br /> THE NATIONAL POLICE AIR SERVICE (NPAS)<br /> REDHILL, SURREY; WAKEFIELD, WEST YORKSHIRE; FILTON, AVON<br /> SALARY TO BE ADVISED &nbsp;</strong><br /> &nbsp;<br /> As part of its commitment to delivering the National Police Air Service (NPAS), West Yorkshire Police is looking to recruit police line pilots to be based at the following locations:<br /> &nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>NPAS Redhill &ndash; MD Explorer (currently a combined Police/HEMS operation)</li> <li>NPAS Wakefield &ndash; MD Explorer</li> <li>NPAS Filton &ndash; EC135T2</li> </ul> <p>This is an early opportunity for candidates with a minimum of a Commercial Pilot&rsquo;s Licence (Helicopter) and Class 1 Medical to join NPAS, where you will provide police air support to operational incidents across your Region.&nbsp; A team player and self-starter, you will already have gained a minimum of 1,500 hours total flying time which must include 50 hours flying at night (20 hours PIC), 500 hours PIC overland under VMC and significant low flying experience.<br /> Although not essential, an MD 902 or EC 135 type rating may benefit your application.<br /> <br /> These posts are suitable for job share.<br /> <br /> <strong>The role profile may be accessed by clicking on the the &quot;Apply Now Button&quot;</strong><strong> quoting reference XPC010<br /> <br /> </strong><strong>In addition to completion of the e-application process, please email your CV to <a href="mailto:hr.resourcing@westyorkshire.pnn.police.uk">hr.resourcing@westyorkshire.pnn.police.uk</a> quoting reference XPC010. <br /> <br /> Closing Date: 17 February 2013<br /> </strong><br /> &nbsp;</p>
