<p><b>Mechanical Design Engineer</b></p> <p><b>Location: Gatwick, West Sussex.</b></p> <p><b>Salary: £40k to £55k P/A</b></p> <p>Our client an established Aviation company with contracts with UK Government, MoD support companies and numerous operators/owners to manage every aspect of aviation systems design and installation.</p> <p>They are looking for an experienced <b>Mechanical Design Engineer</b> with a solid background within the aerospace industry, preferably with a <b>Helicopter / Rotorcraft</b> / <b>Rotary Wing</b> bias. Candidates will have gained either a good level engineering degree from an industry recognised university or possibly other relevant industry qualifications and appropriate experience.</p> <p>The appointed person will lead the <b>Mechanical Design Team</b>, providing the mechanical content for modifications, design proposals and estimates in addition to proving check signature and compliance verification for mechanical designs and drawings.</p> <p>Leadership, sound professional judgement, appreciation and understanding of the <b>EASA Part 21J</b> regulatory requirements and solid communication skills are key requirements.
