<p><u><strong> 1. Essential Requirements</strong></u></p> <p> 1.1 practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices; </p> <p>1.2 a comprehensive knowledge of: (a) relevant parts of operational requirements and procedures; (b) the AOC holder's Operations Specifications ; (c) the need for, and content of, the relevant parts of the AOC holder's Operations Manual; </p> <p>1.3 knowledge of quality systems; </p> <p>1.4 Fifteen years experience in continuing airworthiness which shall include the following; (a) Managerial experience in continuing airworthiness (i.e.</p> <p>145 maintenance organization and/or CAMO) in an international airline operating wide bodied aircraft; (b) an aircraft maintenance engineer exercising certification privileges on wide bodied aircraft. Preferably base and line experience; (c) Airworthiness surveyor in a Civil Aviation Authority whose regulations closely resemble EASA Parts; 1.5 Have worked as an aircraft maintenance engineer (i.e. certifying staff) on Boeing aircraft, preferably B757 and/or B767. </p> <p>1.6 Knowledge of writing MOE and CAME, other manuals(e.g. AMP and ETOPS maintenance manual) and procedures which shall meet EASA Part-145 and Part-M requirements, respectively; </p> <p>1.7 Knowledge of reviewing contracts with service providers (e.g. aircraft lessor, line maintenance contracts, heavy maintenance contracts…etc) to check compliance with regulations and meeting business goals </p> <p>1.8 knowledge of maintenance methods. This shall include knowledge of EASA Part- 145, Part-66, Part-147, Part-M, Part-21, AMC 20-8, AMC 20-6, EU OPS1 </p> <p>1.10 An understanding of Human Factors and Human Performance Limitations </p> <p>1.11 Knowledge and experience of managing Part-145 and CAMO training requirements </p> <p>1.12 Project management skills </p> <p>1.13 Report writing and presentation skills </p> <p>1.14 Ability to communicate efficiently and confidently with civil aviation authorities and service providers </p> <p>1.15 Experience on aircraft delivery and re-delivery </p> <p>1.16 IATA DG awareness or equivalent course completion </p> <p>1.17 ICAO SMS course completion </p> <p>1.18 Should be acceptable by Maldives CAA as a deputy form 4 holder for CAMO and 145 </p> <p><u><strong>2. Preference will be given to the below mentioned qualities:</strong></u></p> <p>2.1 Ability to conduct maintenance human factors, fuel tank safety,ETOPS and EWIS training </p> <p>2.2 Knowledge of engine borescope inspection. Preferably GE CF6-80 and/or RR RB211-535E4 </p> <p>2.3. Knowledge of NDT (Eddy current and Ultrasonic) procedures required to setup a shop </p> <p>2.4 Be able to carry out assessment (on a technical level) of the certifying staff in order for them to be granted with Company Authorisation. This can be in the form of a question paper or oral questions and interviews with the individuals</p>
