<p><strong>AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL OFFICERS</strong><br /> <strong><br /> Kirkwall and Wick <br /> Scotland</strong><br /> <br /> We are currently seeking two Air Traffic Control Officers to work at Kirkwall and Wick Airports which is part of the HIAL group.&nbsp; You must hold an Air Traffic Controller&rsquo;s Licence issued in accordance with the requirements of the EU Commission Air Traffic Controller Licence Regulation No. 805/2011.&nbsp; Your ATC License should contain a minimum of an ADI (Aerodrome Control Instrument) rating.&nbsp; Ideally you should also hold an APP (Approach Control Procedural) rating or be currently attending an APP (Approach Control Procedural) course at one of the CAA approved ATS Training Colleges.<br /> <br /> You must also hold a current ICAO Class 3 Aviation Medical Certificate, an English Language Proficiency Certificate at Level 5 or higher, and a Met Observers Certificate. <br /> <br /> You should be able to think on your feet whilst maintaining a flexible approach to working patterns which includes weekends and unsocial hours. <br /> <br /> Salary during unit training will be &pound;32,622 per annum.&nbsp; Salary upon successful ADI/APP validation is from &pound;37,281 rising to &pound;46,602 per annum plus 12.5% shift allowance and a MET Observers allowance of &pound;1,170 per annum.&nbsp; An attractive pension scheme is also available to the successful candidate. &nbsp;<br /> <br /> <strong>Further information and an application form (no CVs please) are available on the careers section of our website&nbsp; click on the &quot;Apply Now Button&quot;<br /> The closing date for applications is 12 noon Friday 15 March 2013.<br /> <br /> </strong></p>
