<p><strong>AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL OFFICERS</strong><br /> <strong><br /> Kirkwall and Wick <br /> Scotland</strong><br /> <br /> We are currently seeking two Air Traffic Control Officers to work at Kirkwall and Wick Airports which is part of the HIAL group. You must hold an Air Traffic Controller’s Licence issued in accordance with the requirements of the EU Commission Air Traffic Controller Licence Regulation No. 805/2011. Your ATC License should contain a minimum of an ADI (Aerodrome Control Instrument) rating. Ideally you should also hold an APP (Approach Control Procedural) rating or be currently attending an APP (Approach Control Procedural) course at one of the CAA approved ATS Training Colleges.<br /> <br /> You must also hold a current ICAO Class 3 Aviation Medical Certificate, an English Language Proficiency Certificate at Level 5 or higher, and a Met Observers Certificate. <br /> <br /> You should be able to think on your feet whilst maintaining a flexible approach to working patterns which includes weekends and unsocial hours. <br /> <br /> Salary during unit training will be £32,622 per annum. Salary upon successful ADI/APP validation is from £37,281 rising to £46,602 per annum plus 12.5% shift allowance and a MET Observers allowance of £1,170 per annum.
